Stairway to Hell is a map that makes you heavily rely on your hording skills, since there are literally NO camping spots on this map, and the guns are not that powerful. How this map works is you start in a rather big room, but with multiple spawns, the mystery box and Quick Revive.Īlso there is NO WONDER WEAPON, so that's why you cant expect to demolish everything in front of you just like that. You have to pay 2.000 points for the first door, which will open up a large staircase to the next level (floor). Every level has its own perk and spawns, but there are no wall weapons on this map, so you have to rely on the box in the first level.
Once you activate the second level, every single next level will cost you +2.000 (except last ones which only cost +1.000) so for example level 3 costs 4.000 points, level 4 costs 6.000 points, and so on and so forth. This map has a lot of open space which makes it awesome to train/horde in and it is just fun and different, so that's what makes it special.
So those were some of my favorite maps to download, but now i´m going to show you how to do it! There is an updated version which adds Widows Wine and the Thundergun, among other things, but I feel it takes away the challenge of the map, so I recommend playing the original version of StH.
